Halloween Party

Lily get's the big one

We had our first annual Halloween party on Saturday night and I think it was a hit. We had chili and cornbread and caramel apples for dessert. The kids dressed up and the biggest hit of all time…who would’ve guessed it… bobbing for apples. When did this little gem go out of fashion? Probably during the genesis of being politically correct and attempting to keep our children away from the unsanitary saliva infested bobbing bucket (not as gross as you might think). At any rate…we brought it back and with a vengeance. It was, by far, the most popular and exciting thing at the party…it even beat out the piƱata. Of course the most popular for the adults…yup—four square.

We’re now gearing up for the REAL DEAL and brushing off costumes for the costume parade at school and then trick-or-treating at Grandma Laurie’s. Happy tricking, I mean treating, everyone!

Awesome! Another great use for the barn right?

Sweet action shot. What's the big deal about germs, anyway? I'm sick of hearing about them.

Can we do that for Thanksgiving?

I totally want in on this 4-square phenom. The Prusso brothers think they have found something I can't beat them in but they haven't. It is on in 2009 when we come and visit again.
